Pattern attached to a wood block. The eraser serves as a backer with some give to allow the embossing to take. |
Cutting the foil tape to length with a paper cutter. |
Line up the pattern on the tape on the backer.... |
Press the pattern on the tape. |
Voila! The peice is embossed with the nail pattern. |
A pile of plates ready to apply. |
Peel the paper backing off and place the peice over lapping it's neighbors by 1mm.
Using a cloth, burnish the peice from the center out seating it completely. Careful,
this stuff has sharp edges! |
and so copper sheathing begins. |
