FedEx delivered the dust collector on Thursday, the 2nd, at the same time Mark arrived. Mark's got a couple of projects to work on, so, while he went about building a banjo, I assembled the dust collector and helped him when needed.

Mark and I go waaaay back, meeting when we were teenagers. We've worked and sailed together for decades, and it's Mark that basically gave the shop it's name. Besides building and playing musical instruments, or home-brewing beer, he also builds and operates model boats. In between, he's a tugboat captain out of Baltimore.

The day before this we took two of his creations down to the creek near his place

I've been wanting a simple apron for a while, and finally went out and got one for $5 at A.C.Moore. Then I got this idea to stencil it, so I cut a stencil from some card real quick and spray painted it on the apron. I think that'll do.
