Inner keel cut and forms notched.

Transom forms attached and notched for stern post.

11/27: More planks and counter trimmed to shape.

Transome planking checked against template.

12/3:Planking continues.

Turning the bilge and across the counter.

A form to hold the transom's shape until internal framing is installed.

The transom brace works even with all the nails pulled out.

Last planks go on the bow.

Waist cut out. Planking is complete!

Happy with that milestone.

12/26: Paper template to mark gunport, moldings, etc.

1/6/12: Forms cut out to be reinstalled as frames.

1/7: Sparplan drawn in 1:96.
Blue marks are American demensions of 1818
Black are British standard for a 38.

1/8: First frame glued into the hull.

1/10: All the frames glued in and the timberheads trimmed.
